tarte Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow

Alison (TheRosySnail) and I got these beautiful Tarte Bambeautiful Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow palettes.  We each got a different color and are coordinating our reviews so you guys can see both palettes!  I got the Sew the Seeds color palette, which features greens and golds.  These beautiful palettes retail for $25.

I love the Tarte packaging!  It has a small magnetic closure and it's made with  real bamboo that is beautiful and eco-friendly.

The first thing Alison and I noticed was how big these shadows look, and in fact they are 1.75g.  Compared to the shadows in the Naked palettes, which are 1.30g and Mac refill pans, which are 1.5, they are a bit bigger!

So here are the colors: Shimmering Olive, Matte Softest Peach, Shimmering Gold, and Matte Espresso.

Here they are swatched, without primer, from top to bottom: Shimmering Olive, Matte Softest Peach, and Matte Espresso.  Even though the Peach color is supposed to be matte, it is anything but; however, it's a very lovely shade for highlighting the inner corner and under the browbone!

Ok, so for the other half of this review, click here to see The Rosy Snail's review of the other Tarte Bambeautiful Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette in Shades of Clay.

Happy Tarte-y Primping!
